site.btaPresident Arrives in Fire-Ravaged Bolyarovo Municipality
President Rumen Radev Saturday arrived in Bolyarovo Municipality, Southeastern Bulgaria, which was hit by devastating fires. He is meeting with the local authorities and is checking on the situation.
The Regional Directorate of the Interior reported that things were calm during the night.
Bolyarovo Municipal Mayor Hristo Hristov told Radev this was the worst ever fire tackled by the local authorities. In such cases it is important to have fine communication among the institutions with the help of mobile operators, Hristov said.
