I believe that the Prime Minister, the Interior and Defence Ministers are doing their job. They are on the field, but the head of State is absent, we do not have one at the moment,” said Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) Chairman Delyan Peevski after Vazrazhdane urged Radev to convene the Consultative Council on National Security because of the wildfires in the country.
Peevski said that the Prime Minister will convene a Security Council on the same issue. Work is going on, he said, adding that Vazrazhdane’s call is late.
Of President Rumen Radev's remarks about him, Peevski said that this case is yet to unforld. "Let's see first if he will run in the elections. I am waiting for him and his treasurers to come out on the field of politics. I am yet to say much about the President and the circle around him," he said.
Peevski said that he had not received any answers from the institutions on the questions he had asked about the president and his circle, which he said was very strange.
"I am waiting for answers about his circle, which is very interesting. Mr Cash is yet to give many answers," Peevski said. Asked who “Mr Cash” was, he replied, "Radev, of course."
“I will personally take care to always bring out the truth about Radev and his circle, I will not allow Bulgaria to go East,” the MRF Chairman further said.
