site.btaPresident Radev to Confer with CC-DB Representatives on Monday

President Rumen Radev will confer with representative of the parliamentary group of the Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) coalition at 4 p.m. on Monday, the head of State’s press secretariat said.

The meeting will take place on the initiative of CC-DB.

On Sunday, CC-DB requested a meeting with the head of State to discuss the current political situation and options for resolving the political crisis.

Radev is expected to hand the second exploratory mandate for forming a government to the second largest parliamentary group. After 17 MPs were expelled from the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) parliamentary group during the week, the MRF dropped from being the second largest parliamentary force to fourth largest. The second largest parliamentary group in Parliament is now CC-DB.
