Central Election Commission (CEC) Chair Kamelia Neykova told the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR) on Sunday that preparations for the two-in-one elections on June 9 is going smoothly. She pointed out that CEC had started preparations for the vote much earlier.
Paper ballot sheets, paper rollers for the machines and the latest training for the district election commissions are yet to be delivered, Neykova said. A lot of materials have been prepared to assist members of the district commissions. If there are no mistakes in voting tally sheets, their reception will be much easier, she added.
People who are not eligible to vote in the European parliamentary elections can vote in the national elections, but only with a paper ballot, Neykova noted. The difference in the two lists is about 480,000 people.
