In June, the lowest temperatures will range between 10C and 15C and the highest between 31C and 36C, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology told BTA on Friday.
The average monthly temperature will be around normal, which is between 20C and 22C in most parts, around 23C in the Struma River Valley in Southwestern Bulgaria, between 17C and 19C in the higher plains and between 4C and 12C in the mountains.
The monthly precipitation will be around normal, which is between 50 and 70 l/sq m in the valleys, 30 to 50 l/sq m in Southwestern Bulgaria and at the seaside, and 70 to 130 l/sq m in the mountains.
June 1-10: Mostly cloudy, with rain showers and thunderstorms in many places. The first few days will have warmer air coming in from the southwest and highs up to 35C. Temperatures will fall to normal around June 5 as cooler air comes from the northwest.
June 11-20: Warmer weather in the first few days, rain showers and thunderstorms at the beginning and end of the period. More sun around June 15.
June 21-30: More days with sun and higher temperatures. Rain and thunder more likely at the beginning and end of the period.
