site.btaDeputy Foreign Minister Kondov Meets with Israel's Ambassador to Bulgaria

Caretaker Deputy Foreign Minister Ivan Condov met Israel’s Ambassador to Bulgaria Yosef Levi Sfari on May 23 in Sofia, his Ministry’s press centre said on Monday. During the talks, the current developments in the conflict between Israel and Hamas were discussed, as well as bilateral relations and the current situation in the Middle East. 

Issues concerning cooperation between Bulgaria and Israel in the framework of international forums were also in focus.

Regarding developments in the conflict between Israel and Hamas, Deputy Minister Kondov expressed Bulgaria's concern about the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza and the need to take urgent measures to alleviate the situation of the civilian population.
