site.btaCabinet to Discuss 2024 National Reform Programme Update
Bulgaria’s caretaker Government will discuss an update of the 2024 National Reform Programme at its meeting on Friday at 1 p.m., the Government Information Service said.
The Cabinet’s agenda has a total of 50 items, including consideration of Bulgaria's fourth national action plan under the global Open Government Partnership initiative and determining the composition of the Coordination Council for the Bulgarian participation in the initiative.
The caretaker Government will appoint chairpersons of the Council for Economic Analyses and the Administrative Reform Council.
Ministers are expected to approve a draft joint declaration on strengthening the strategic partnership between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the caretaker Cabinet is expected to change the composition of the Supervisory Board of the National Social Insurance Institute.
Three associations – the Association of Parents with Children with Epilepsy, the Health Psychology Research Center, and the Bulgarian Association for Neuromuscular Diseases - are expected to be recognized by the Government as nationally representative organizations.
The Cabinet is due to approve Bulgaria's participation in Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, from April 13 to October 13.
