The head of the European Commission Representation in Bulgaria, Yordanka Chobanova, and Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) Governor Dimitar Radev held a meeting at the central bank to discuss forthcoming steps related to Bulgaria's future transition to the euro, Chobanova wrote on LinkedIn on Monday. Bulgaria's entry in the eurozone is a shared priority on which this country and the Commission are working together, the publication reads. 

The Commission will continue supporting the Bulgarian authorities in the practical preparation for a smooth and successful adoption of the euro as soon as possible, Chobanova also wrote.
