The head of State and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Rumen Radev, will promote Colonel Danail Baev to brigadier general, the presidential press service reported.

The ceremony will take place in the Coat of Arms Hall at Dondukov 2 on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, it was reported that Radev will appoint Baev as Director of the Intelligence Directorate of the European Union Military Committee. Baev will take office on April 1, 2024.
