Conditions are good for hiking in the mountains on Monday, the Mountain Rescue Service told BTA. The weather is clear and sunny.

One minor incident involving a mountain hiker was reported on Sunday evening.

The weather on Monday will be mostly sunny over the mountains in the morning, but cloud will start to increase and thicken from the west in the afternoon. Rain showers are expected in isolated parts in the western mountain ranges. Moderate to strong southwesterly wind. Highs: around 9 C at 1,200 m, and around 2 C at 2,000 m.
