President Rumen Radev held a meeting with the partners of the Bulgarian Christmas fundraising campaign, involved in organizing its Christmas charity concert and 2023/2024 media coverage, at the Coat of Arms Hall at the Presidency building on Monday, Radev's Press Secretariat said. "The Bulgarian Christmas continues to unite our society around timeless moral values," the Head of State noted.

The 21st edition of the Bulgarian Christmas fundraising campaign was organized with the support of the Dream Team Group company, Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra, Ivan Vazov National Theatre, the performers at the Christmas concert, as well as with the support of the Bulgarian National Television, Bulgarian National Radio, bTV Media Group, Nova Broadcasting Group, Euronews Bulgaria, Bulgaria ON AIR, and the 24 Chasa daily.

As a result of the donation campaign, the Bulgarian Christmas has raised a budget of BGN 3,150,000 in 2024.

This year's event is focused on helping children with rare genetic disorders under the motto "Give Hope to a Child in Need". The main goal of the 2023/2024 campaign is to draw public attention to pediatric surgery, to raise awareness about surgical services for children with congenital and acquired disorders, the impact on their lives, and to help children with such disorders to receive timely diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation.

The Bulgarian Christmas initiative is held under the auspices of the Head of State.
