Nadezhda Yordanova Heads Constitutional Affairs Committee in Parliament

The National Assembly dismissed Radomir Cholakov (GERB-UDF) as chairman of the Committee on Constitutional Affairs and elected Nadezhda Yordanova (Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria). Until now, Yordanova was deputy chair of the committee.

Radomir Cholakov was also dismissed as a member of the Committee on Constitutional Affairs. Anna Alexandrova (GERB-UDF) was elected as a member of the committee in his place.

Cholakov is now a member of the Committee on Direct Participation of Citizens and Interaction with Civil Society in the National Assembly, replacing Anna Alexandrova.

The changes in the standing committees were included in the agenda at the beginning of the plenary session at the proposal of the Parliament Chair Rosen Zhelyazkov.
