A test of a rocket engine powered by the most potent Bulgarian eco-fuel for civil purposes was carried out near the village of Nedelkova Grashtitsa, Nevestino Municipality, on Wednesday.
The test took place under the supervision of engineer Hristofor Skandaliev, PhD student in chemical sciences, and Doctor of Engineering Kalin Krumov, a lecturer in thermal engineering. The experiment was part of a scientific experiment of the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy in Sofia.
Skandaliev told BTA that the eco-fuel produces no emissions and has various uses. Its formula was developed over three months, but the fuel's ingredients are a technological secret, he explained.
