A wildfire rages on near the villages of Izvorishte and Bryastovets in Burgas Region, the Interior Ministry's Regional Directorate in Burgas told BTA on Monday. 

The wildfire was reported around 3:30 p.m. The flames started near the village of Izvorishe but strong winds spread them to the village of Bryastovets. Dry grasses and shrubs are burning. There are reports of an old uninhabited house near Izvorishte which burned down.

Because of the fire, the road between the villages of Mirolyubovo and Izvorishte is closed, as well as the road between the villages of Izvorishte and Banevo.

The entire staff of the Regional Directorate of Fire Safety and Population Protection in Burgas is involved in trying to extinguish the flames. Ten fire trucks are on the spot, as well as Regional Director Nikolay Nikolaev and Burgas Mayor Dimitar Nikolov.
