The condition of Dragomir Andonov, who was stabbed while attending a football match in Skopje, is improving, the Military Medical Academy said. The patient has been admitted to a general department of surgery and his lab tests are normal. 

Andonov was transported from Skopje on August 3 aboard a State Aviation Operator Mi-8 helicopter and was overseen by a team of medics from the Military Medical Academy.

Last week Bulgarian football fans were attacked minutes before the start of a UEFA Europa Conference League match between the local FC Shkupi and PFC Levski in Skopje.
