site.btaCode Yellow Issued for 23 Regions on Saturday

A Code Yellow weather warning has been issued for 23 regions on Saturday, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology said.

In 20 regions the weather will be hot, and in five thunderstorms are expected. 

Extreme temperatures of between 35C and 39C are expected in the regions of Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Kardzhali, Lovech, Pazardzhik, Pleven, Plovdiv, Razgrad, Ruse, Silistra, Sliven, Stara Zagora, Targovishte, Haskovo and Yambol. 

Thunderstorms are forecast in five western regions - Blagoevgrad, Vidin, Vratsa, Kyustendil and Montana late on Saturday and overnight.
