Conditions for hiking in the mountains are good, the Mountain Rescue Service told BTA Wednesday. 

The weather is sunny, with showers and thunderstorms expected in the afternoon.

The Mountain Rescue Service advises tourists to start early for the mountains early because of the forecast.

There were no incidents involving hikers over the past 24 hours.

Highs: 29C at 1,200 m, around 22C at 2,000 m.
