The Council of Ministers Wednesday approved a strategy and an action plan for transition to circular economy in the period 2022-2027. The aim of the two documents is to achieve resource efficiency through a hierarchic approach in waste management, eliminating waste generation, promoting reuse, recycling and recovery of materials and products, reduction of landfilled waste and limiting the harmful impact of waste on the environment and human health.
