site.btaCaretaker Government Relieves of Post Bulgarian Honorary Consul in Colombia, Appoints Honorary Consul in Benin

The caretaker government Wednesday adopted a decision relieving Carlos Umana Trujillo from the post of Bulgarian honorary consul in Colombia at his request. Trujillo requested the move back in June, citing personal reasons.  By another decision, the government appointed Zhivko Mihailov Bulgaria's Honorary Consul in Cotonou, Benin. Mihailov, who has lived and worked in Benin for more than 24 years, maintains active contacts with the Bulgarians living in Benin and the local authorities, as well as with the Association of Beninese Alumni who studied in Bulgaria.
