The complete reconstruction of the Stanke Lisichkovo Border Crossing Point (BCP) on the border with the North Macedonia continues, the General Directorate of Border Police (DGBP) said on its website. In connection with the repair work, passage through the checkpoint is carried out on a limited number of routes. Traffic is normal at other border crossing points.

Major repairs are also being carried out on the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse, which has led to the introduction of a temporary traffic organisation, the border authorities noted. Traffic is being carried out in one lane with a through traffic regime and is regulated by employees of the contractor. Traffic at other border crossings with Romania is normal.

Traffic is also normal at the border crossings with Turkiye and Serbia.

On the Greek side of the road between Rudozem and Xanthi, construction works are in progress. The Greek authorities have posted signs indicating that the area is a construction site and no outsiders are allowed to enter the site, the Border Police said.

Only cars and vans up to 3.5 tonnes are allowed to pass through the border crossings with Greece in the area of Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad.
