The third edition of the Media Play Forum will take place in Sofia from April 23 to 25 with participants from over 20 countries, the organizers announced.

We've put together a truly boutique programme that combines meaningful networking, learning and exchange opportunities - all in one place, designed to connect progressive creatives and decision makers from Bulgaria and the region", - says Didi Maksimova, Operations Director of Media Play.

She says this year's edition includes panels, presentations, screenings and masterclasses with some of the brightest minds and most exciting voices in TV, film and digital. These include Tim Crescenti - President, Small World IFT (USA), Anna Rohde - International Creative Executive, BETA Film (Germany), Tereza Bona Keilova - Documentary Producer, HBO Original CEE (Czechia), Martichka Bozhilova - Producer, Agitprop (Bulgaria), Hicran Lefort - Sales Director, MIP Markets (France), Goran Stankovic and Vladimir Tagic - directors and creators of the series Operation Sabre, This and That Productions (Serbia), Ivan Hristov and Andrey Arnaudov - producers of the film Gundi: Legend of Love, Medium Station (Bulgaria), Martina Petrovic - Director of Creative Europe MEDIA Desk (Croatia), Teodora Markova - screenwriter (Bulgaria), Yavor Gardev - director (Bulgaria), Vanja Dzaverovic - TV personality and host (Bulgaria).

Media Play 2025 will feature four event categories that will present both a local and international perspective on the industry. These are Playtime - panels and discussions with leading industry professionals and experts, Playground - masterclasses aimed at developing professional skills and sharing best practice, Playbook - presentations of new content and projects from the region, and Playlist - screenings and pitching sessions for TV and documentary projects.
