site.btaResidents, Visitors of Edirne Celebrate Resurrection of Christ at Bulgarian Church

Orthodox Christians from Bulgaria, Turkiye, Greece, Ukraine, and Russia gathered at the Bulgarian Church of St St Constantine and Helena in the Turkish city of Edirne, near the Bulgarian border, to celebrate the Resurrection of Christ.

The Easter service was performed by Metropolitan Amfilochios of Adrianople, with "Christ is Risen" chanted in Bulgarian, Greek, and Turkish.

The service was attended by the Consul General of Bulgaria, Radoslava Kafedzhiiska, and the Consul General of Greece, Aristidis Radiopoulos, as well as many guests and tourists from Bulgaria who had traveled especially for the Easter holidays.
