An 18-year-old man was the youngest voter in the October 27 snap Bulgarian parliamentary elections in the only polling station in Romania. Voting went smoothly and there were no violations.
A total of 200 people exercised their voting right in this polling station, among them students and athletes.
The last to cast their vote were the members of a BTA delegation that was returning from Odesa, Ukraine, where they participated in a concert celebrating the Day of Bessarabian Bulgarians with singer Dessi Dobreva being the star performer. The event was organized by the BTA National Press Club in Odesa with the support of the Consulate General. The delegation couldn't vote in Odesa because no polling stations were opened in the Bulgarian elections in Ukraine for security considerations. They reached Bucharest after nine hours and 600 km of travel across Ukraine, Moldova and Romania.
