An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.2 on the Richter scale was registered in the Turkish Adiyaman Province in Southeastern Anatolia at 1:37 pm on Thursday. The Adiyaman Province was one of the most affected and with many victims in the devastating earthquakes on February 6, 2023, reported TRT Haber.

The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) said that the epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 11.24 km.

So far, there are no reports of injured people or destruction, but the earthquake has caused panic in the population, many people have fled outside.

The earthquake wsa also felt in the neighboring provinces of Malatya and Kahramanmaras, which were also badly affected by the February 2023 earthquakes.
