BTA’s National Press Club in Bucharest received a diploma from the Bulgarian Embassy in Romania for its participation in the fifth meeting of the Bulgarian Communities in Romania on the occasion of May 24, Day of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, of the Bulgarian Alphabet, Education and Culture, and of Slavic Literature and Day of the Bulgarian Language in Romania.
The event took place on Satuday at the Smarald Forest Events Complex, 30 km away from Bucharest, and was organized by the Bulgarian diplomatic mission and the Union of Banat Bulgarians in Romania.
Special guests at the meeting were Ruse Regional Governor Dragomir Draganov, Ruse Deputy Mayor Dimitar Nedev, Medika Administrative Director Alice Murtezova, Executive Director of Euroregion Danubius Association Lili Gancheva, and Bulgarian football legend Hristo Stoichkov.
