The extradition of the main suspect for two murders in North Macedonia, Ljupcho Palevski-Palcho, will take place soon, judicial procedures in Turkiye have been completed and the administrative procedures should be completed in the next few days, North Macedonia's Justice Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia Krenar Loga wrote on his Facebook account after meeting with Turkish Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç.
Palevski is a suspect in the murders of a 14-year-old girl and a 74-year-old man from Veles. Loga's visit to Ankara coincided with the expiration of Palevski's 40-day detention in Balakesir, ordered by Turkish police, who arrested him on an international search warrant issued by the Interior Ministry in Skopje.
In Ankara, Loga also met with the President of the Supreme Court of Cassation Mehmet Akarca and Supreme Prosecutor Bekir Shahan, with whom they agreed to exchange visits between the institutions of the two countries to gain new knowledge and experience.
