site.btaTurkey's Edirne: Centre of Shopping Tourism from Bulgaria and Other Balkan Countries
According to data of Turkey's Culture and Tourism Ministry, since the start of 2022 Edirne has been visited for weekend shopping by over 500,000 people, primarily from Bulgaria and Greece. Bulgarians account for 95 per cent of these visits.
