Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov is in Paris to attend the Ukraine security summit on the invitation of President Emmanuel Macron, said the government press office Thursday.
At the meeting, the leaders of Europe, Canada and Turkiye will coordinate support for Ukraine and discuss steps towards a just and lasting peace.
The Bulgarian head of government will reconfirm his commitment to the principle that nothing about the future of Ukraine can be decided without the participation of Ukraine and that European security cannot be discussed without the active role of the European countries. Zhelyazkov will underscore that ensuring peace in the Black Sea region is crucial for the stability of the Euro-Atlantic space, said the government press office.
High-ranking officials of 31 countries will be attending the coalition of the willing for Ukraine, said the office of the French President.
