The weather in the mountains is warm, but there are strong to moderate winds in places, as well as strong gusts. It is not advisable for hikers to climb the higher parts, the Mountain Rescue Service of the Bulgarian Red Cross warned Wednesday.

In mountain resorts, depending on wind changes during the day, some facilities may be stopped.

Over the mountains, cloud cover will be significant, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology said. There will be showers of rain before noon in some places in the Eastern Rhodopes, Strandzha, and Sakar.
