site.btaPM Zhelyazkov to Take Part in Extraordinary European Council Meeting in Brussels

Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov will take part in an extraordinary European Council meeting in Brussels on March 6, the Cabinet's press centre said on Wednesday.

The EU leaders will discuss how to strengthen the common European defence in terms of collective capabilities, funding and strategic partnerships. They will also discuss ways to achieve lasting and sustainable peace and security guarantees for Ukraine.

Prior to the meeting, the leaders of the EU Member States will hold a discussion with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the statement said.
