Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) Co-Floor Leader Nikolay Denkov Tuesday told journalists that he expects the no-confidence motion in the Government to be rejected, based on what the parties have said. Also, the topic of the motion is unsuitable, there are more serious issues, and the vote would divert Bulgaria from its goal to adopt the euro in early 2026, Denkov commented. "Neither the power holders nor our coalition think the motion should be backed," he added.

Three of the opposition groups in Parliament - Vazrazhdane, MECh and Velichie - moved for a vote of no-confidence against the Government over its foreign policy on March 26.

Asked whether they would support the Government if invited to negotiations, in case Democracy, Rights and Freedoms withdraw their support, Denkov said that he currently sees no reason for CC-DB to take part in negotiations.

"We said what our conditions are: isolation of MRF - New Beginning and [its leader Delyan] Peevski. There was such a [parliamentary] majority, but clearly [GERB leader Boyko] Borissov cannot do it, and since he cannot do it, we have no place in this government, even in negotiations," Denkov commented on behalf of CC-DB.
