Truck traffic is normal at Bulgaria's border crossing points, with repair work continuing at the Danube Bridge and the Malko Tarnovo checkpoints, the Border Police said on their website on Wednesday morning.

At the border with Turkiye, traffic through the Malko Tarnovo checkpoint is temporarily limited to a single lane.

Temporary traffic changes remain in place on the Danube Bridge at Ruse, on the border with Romania, due to repairs on the Bulgarian section of the bridge. Traffic is restricted to one lane.

Repairs continue on the Greek side of the Rudozem - Xanthi route. Greek authorities have placed signs indicating that the area is a construction site, restricting access to outsiders, the Border Police said. Only passenger cars and minibuses of up to 3.5 tonnes are allowed to pass through the Makaza, Zlatograd, and Ivaylovgrad border checkpoints.

Traffic is normal at all border crossings along the border with Serbia and the Republic of North Macedonia.
