The Pamporovo resort is full, it is experiencing a strong season and an increase in tourist visits from Romania, Greece, and Serbia, Dimitar Gerdzhikov, Manager of Snow Control at Pamporovo AD, told BTA on Friday. Gerdzhikov added that almost all of the regular clients from the Balkan countries have returned, as well as Irish and British tourists. "Romanian tourists predominate at the moment. Their interest is extremely high, because we have invested in a very strong summer marketing campaign," he noted.

The Pamporovo ski area lift pass also gives access to Mechi Chal, providing guests with a greater variety of ski trails. "This opportunity is part of Pamporovo AD's effort to provide maximum comfort, security and quality training for winter sports enthusiasts," said Pamporovo AD PR Expert Alexandra Tsankova.

On the occasion of the national holiday on March 3, the traditional descent in folk costumes will be organised. Between March 6 and 8, Pamporovo will host the Bulgarian Olympic Winter Festival. In the middle of the month, the resort will welcome competitors from all over the country for the Rotary International, after which it will host the State Snowboarding Championship.
