Bulgarian mountains are offering excellent conditions for tourism, the Mountain Rescue Service with the Bulgarian Red Cross told BTA on Saturday morning. The weather is clear and sunny.

Temperatures vary between minus 3C and 1C, all facilities are operational.

Mountaineers are advised to follow the marked routes and to keep to the marked slopes while skiing or snowboarding, as some parts of the terrain is icy.

National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology's forecast for Saturday's weather in the mountains: Mostly cloudy. Moderate wind, westerly. Highs - 3C at 1,200 m, minus 2C at 2,000 m.
