Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) - New Beginning leader Delyan Peevski commented here on Tuesday the prosecution service's request that Parliament lifts Continue the Change (CC) co-leader Kiril Petkov's immunity over the 2022 arrest of GERB leader Boyko Borissov, while the former was prime minister. "I am watching a huge show, I sincerely have doubts in what happened yesterday [Monday]," Peevski said. "Let us see if he [Petkov] gives up his immunity and if the case makes it to court, maybe then I'll believe in the prosecution service's actions," Peevski said.

"We also learned from all the TV hosts that it is normal for a Bulgarian prime minister to arrest whoever they want, the leader of the opposition [referring to Borissov, who was in opposition at the time]," Peevski said, warning that monstrous things will happen in Bulgaria if such actions are ignored.
