In October, Sofia Airport handled 5,823 flights to 99 destinations in 39 countries, Sofia Airport said in a post on Facebook on Monday. The flights were operated by 35 airlines. The airport said that the top five destinations for passengers travelling from Sofia are London, Vienna, Frankfurt, Milan, and Istanbul.

Sofia Airport recalled that in September, it handled 5,920 flights to 102 destinations in 38 countries, serviced by 40 airlines. The most popular destinations that month were once again London, Vienna, Frankfurt, Milan, and Istanbul.
