The Ukrainian Ambassador to Bulgaria Olesya Ilashchuk attended the opening of the Days of Ukrainian Cuisine at the Ethnographic Museum in Burgas on Wednesday. Asked by the media to comment on the US presidential elections, Ilashchuk noted that she cannot comment until official results are announced. "You know that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has already congratulated Donald Trump on his victory. They have long had a dialogue, and he will continue to work actively with all partners to discover our strong common response and solution," she pointed out.

"We rely on our partners to continue the policies behind which the international community stood in our so-called anti-Putin coalition," Ilashchuk added. She underscored that Ukraine is actively working with all partners on the peace formula provided by President Zelenskyy. "Bulgaria is a leader in the Balkans, as it participated in the implementation of four paragraphs of this formula. These are food safety, energy safety, restoration of justice and ecology," Ilashchuk said.

Other guests of the opening included the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Burgas Dimitar Karanenov, Burgas Regional Governor Maria Neykova, and Ethnographic Museum Director Milen Nikolov.
