site.btaGrigor Dimitrov Makes It to Paris Masters Semifinals for the First Time

Paris, November 1 (BTA) - The most successful Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov qualified for the first time in his career for the hard court semifinals of the 2019 ATP Paris Masters 1000 in, with a prize fund of 5.21 million euro.

The 28-year-old won a match against Chilean Christian Garin with 6:2, 7:5 in an hour and a half.

This success largely guarantees Dimitrov's return to the top 20 of world tennis rankings.

With his victory today Dimitrov gained 259,730 euro and 360 points for the world rankings.

In the semifinal he will play against Novak Djokovic (Serbia), who later on Friday defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas (Greece).
