The Democracy, Rights and Freedoms – MRF coalition lodged an appeal against instructions of the Central Election Commission (CEC) and then withdrew it, said the Supreme Administrative Court (SAC) on Sunday.
On September 8, an appeal was lodged by Democracy, Rights and Freedoms - MRF, represented by Dzhevdet Chakarov, against the instructions of the Central Election Commission of September 4 in connection with the consideration of the coalition’s application for registration in the October 27 early parliamentary elections.
Simultaneously, a motion to withdraw the appeal was filed at the court. A ruling of SAC is pending within three days.
On September 4, CEC adopted instructions giving the MRF - New Beginning coalition and the MRF - Democracy, Rights and Freedoms coalition until 5 am on September 7 to present documents certifying that the MRF party is not part of their composition.
