Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov retained his ninth place in the tennis world rankings, which are updated every Monday.
The athlete lost points last week after being eliminated in the second round of the 2024 Cincinnati Open by Hungary's Fabian Marozsan but still has a lead of 220 points over tenth-ranked Alex de Minaur who has 3,435 points.
There are no changes at the top of the rankings, but Italy's Jannik Sinner increased his lead over second-placed Novak Djokovic after the Serb opted not to defend his trophy in Cincinnati. Sinner has an asset of 9,410 points, 1,950 more than Djokovic. In third place is Roland Garros and Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz with 7,360 points.
