site.btaGlavchev Promises to Remain Caretaker PM for as Long as Necessary

Dimitar Glavchev Monday promised to remain caretaker Prime Minister for as long as is necessary to prevent a constitutional crisis in Bulgaria. Glavchev made a statement to that effect that was posted on the government's Facebook page.

"It is my obligation to lead the country through this unprecedented situation as well. Considering the situation that was created and if that is necessary to prevent a constitutional stalemate, I declare my readiness to participate in a constitutional procedure for appointing a new caretaker Prime Minister," said Glavchev.

Earlier on Monday, President Rumen Radev refused to decree the appointment of a caretaker cabinet with Kalin Stoyanov as Interior Minister in it.
