site.btaChinese Book Corner Opens at Bulgarian National Library

A Chinese Book Corner was unveiled at the St St Cyril and Methodius National Library on Friday, the library said.

This is the 30th book corner presenting the culture of a foreign country to open at the National Library.

More than 200 books have been donated by the Embassy of the People's Republic of China, the library’s director, Prof. Dr. Krasimira Alexandrova, said. She highlighted the long-standing relations between the national libraries of Bulgaria and China, noting that they involve regular book exchanges.

The Chinese Book Corner opened on the eve of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the Library added.
