Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) have requested a meeting with President Rumen Radev to discuss the current political situation and the possibilities for resolving the political crisis, said the press office of CC-DB.

The meeting was requested on Saturday.

President Rumen Radev is expected to hand over the second exploratory mandate for forming a government to the second-largest parliamentary group. After 17 MPs were expelled from the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) parliamentary group during the week, the MRF went from being the second largest parliamentary to fourth. The second-largest party in Parliament now is CC-DB, which is expected to get the exploratory mandate to form a government.
