site.btaArgentina's Ambassador to Bulgaria Hosts Reception on Occasion of His Country's National Holiday

Argentina’s national holiday, Independence Day, July 9, was marked with a reception hosted by the country’s Ambassador to Bulgaria, Alejandro Meyer, the Bulgarian Antarctic Institute said.

The Ambassador highlighted the fruitful cooperation between Bulgaria and Argentina in Antarctica, voicing his intention to pursue and deepen this process in the future.

Addressing the guests at the reception event, the head of the Bulgarian Antarctic Institute, Prof. Dr. Christo Pimpirev, also noted the excellent relations between the two countries and the strengthening of ties between them.

The event was attended by ministers, ambassadors, diplomats, representatives of Bulgarian institutions, cultural figures, reporters, and Argentines living in Bulgaria.

The attendees had the opportunity to enjoy Argentine tango and bandoneon performances and to sample local specialties and wines, the Institute added.
