site.btaExhibition to Showcase Hungary's Outstanding Contributions
An exhibition titled "Hungarikums" will be put on display in the Crystal Garden in Sofia between July 8 and 22 to mark the upcoming Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Hungarian Liszt Cultural Institute in Sofia said.
Hungarikums is a collective term used to refer to the outstanding contributions of Hungarians in various fields such as economy, architecture, technology, agriculture, culture, gastronomy, health, and art, the organizers added.
The exhibition will be opened by Hungary's Ambassador to Bulgaria, Miklós Boros.
In 2024, Hungary celebrates 20 years of EU membership. The country will take over the six-month Presidency of the Council of the EU on July 1.
