The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) has issued a first-degree yellow code warning for hot weather in almost the entire country on Sunday.

Sunday will be mostly sunny and hot, with light to moderate est-southeasterly wind. After noon, there will be temporary increases in cloudiness over the mountainous regions, mainly in Western Bulgaria, and in some places it will rain and thunder. Highs: 34-39C, 34C in Sofia.

Eperts advise drinking more water, eating light foods and avoiding the sun during the hottest hours of the day.
