The hiking conditions on Thursday are goon, the Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) told BTA. Very high temperatures are expected. Mountain rescuers recommend that people stay out of the sun and carry water with them.

A young man was bitten by a snake on Vitosha on Wednesday. The MRS recommends that tourists do not touch or feed wild animals in the mountains.

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) said that the weather will be sunny in the mountains, with slight cumulus clouds in the afternoon, moderate to strong northeasterly wind. Highs at an altitude of 1,200m will be 28C, 20C at 2,000m.
