The new ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Bulgaria, Dai Qingli, presented copies of her credentials to Deputy Foreign Minister Nevyana Miteva on Friday, the Foreign Ministry reported.

The host also voiced her conviction that Sofia and Beijing will bolster their traditionally excellent partnership in the context of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations, which they are celebrating in 2024.
The two diplomats discussed matters on the current bilateral agenda, including the prospects of enhancing trade and economic relations, increasing Bulgarian exports to China, maintaining active students exchange and promoting tourism.
Giving a positive assessment for bilateral cooperation so far, the sides shared the view that Bulgaria and China need to keep focused on achieving pragmatic results in their interaction in all areas of shared interest.
