site.btaGeorgi Tahov Takes Oath of Office as Agriculture Minister

Georgi Tahov, who was appointed caretaker Minister of Agriculture, took the oath of office before the National Assembly here on Wednesday.

Tahov was invited to the plenary hall to take the oath of office following the adoption of the agenda and parliamentary group's declarations.

Parliament Chair Rosen Zhelyazkov read out President Rumen Radev's decree making structural changes to the caretaker cabinet headed by Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev. By his decree, President Rumen Radev also appointed Dimitar Glavchev as caretaker minister of Foreign Affairs and Georgi Tahov as caretaker Minister of Agriculture and Food.

Zhelyazkov pointed out that Glavchev, who was appointed caretaker Prime Minister, had already taken the oath as a member of the Council of Ministers and therefore the oath as a member of the Council of Ministers would be taken by Georgi Tahov.
