site.btaBulgarian Boxer Viktorio Iliev Wins European Youth Boxing Championships

Viktorio Iliev became European junior boxing champion here on Sunday. In the final in the U60 kg category in the Junior European Boxing Championships here, the Bulgarian had a great boxing match, managing to defeat Bohdan Cheldyk from Ukraine.

Coached by Olympic champion Stoyka Krasteva and Fikret Eredzebov, Iliev dominated the first round and took the lead. His opponent managed to level the game in the second part and in the third Iliev gave his best to take the victory after a review and 4:3 judges' votes.

Bulgaria won five medals at the European Championships in Porec.
